After virtual silence for over a year, Cupcakes and Cadenzas is being relaunched!!
The main difference is that the site has a new look and feel and has moved from Blogger to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog. Other than that though, not much else has changed and you will still be able to get a regular dose of motivation, inspiration, humour and…some other stuff too. You will see that there is a book review section and a recipe section too. Keep checking those for updates. More new sections are planned for the future but enough of that and on to the important stuff. The Filofax giveaway!
A Filofax Giveaway For the Relaunch?
Yes – that’s right! To celebrate the relaunch I am giving away a gorgeous, Filofax Pocket Piazza in citrus green leather. It really is stunning! It’s made from the same smooth leather as the classic and comes complete with the full set of inserts and an 18 month diary which takes you up to the end of December, 2014.
“But what do I have to do to get my hands on this amazing giveaway?” I hear you ask.
Well, it’s quite simple. All you have to do is write a limerick about the heatwave that most of the world has just had. If you haven’t had a heatwave – pretend.
To give you an idea of what we’re looking for, a couple of years ago I won a raspberry pocket Metropol from Filofax for writing a limerick about the incredibly cold winter we were going through at the time. Here is my winning limerick:
‘There was a young lady from Deeside
Who thought she would go to the seaside
But at minus fifteen
This should never have been
Now she’s stuck to the rocks by the quayside’
Entries will be judged by myself and an independent adjudicator who will have the final say on the winning entry. The judges’ decision is final.
This giveaway is open to everyone regardless of location.
Entries can be made as a comment on this post or privately using the contact form on the CONTACT page. You can also leave a comment on the Cupcakes and Cadenzas Facebook Page. Please use the hashtag #piazzalimerick
Entries close at midnight (GMT) on Sunday, 11th August 2013
If you have any questions – just ask. Otherwise, GOOD LUCK!
Oh…here’s a look at the Piazza.
